Overview
This article provides guidance on how to initiate an EPCIS connection with your suppliers as part of the OneScan onboarding process. It outlines the steps required before reaching out, the key information to include in your communication, and how to involve LSPedia Support. The goal is to ensure seamless data exchange setup between your organization and your suppliers for DSCSA compliance.
Reach out
Before reaching out to your suppliers, make sure you have added all the necessary information to your OneScan account, based on the checklist attached to your onboarding email.
In order to receive data from your suppliers, LSPedia Support will need to configure the connection in OneScan, and your supplier will need to configure it in their system. To start this process, you should send an email to your supplier and Cc LSPedia Support (help@lspedia.com) requesting an EPCIS connection.
You should include the following information in your email: Location Name, Address, GLN, sGLN, and Account Number(s) for each of your locations. If you have a Corporate/Legal Entity GLN, you should include that as well, as it should be used as the Sold-To GLN. If you do not have one, each location's GLN should act as both the Sold-To and Ship-To GLN for that location.
You can include the required information in the email body, or attached in spreadsheet if you have multiple locations. Below are email templates for both options.
If you do not hear back from your suppliers, we recommend following up with them after 5 business days, or at your discretion.
