How to Publish a GLN and Edit GLN Details

Overview

 

  1. Navigate to the GS1 website.

 

  1. Click on the "Login button" in the top right. 

 

  1. Enter credentials and press "Sign In".

 

  1. Once logged in, press the "Access GS1 US Data Hub"

 

  1. Click "Location"

 

  1.  Click the number in the GLN column.

 

  1. You can edit the GLN information by clicking the "Edit" button in the upper right corner.

 

  1. Click "Save" once you are satisfied with your changes or "Cancel" to revert your changes.

 

  1. Click "Edit" next to the GLN Type. (P.s If you have more than one GLN Type for a given GLN/location, you will see multiple types listed with "Edit" options.)

 

  1. Review the entered address and business information.

 

  1. Click "Save" once you are satisfied with your changes or "Cancel" to revert your changes.

 

  1. If you need to add GLN Types, click "Add GLN Type

 

  1. You can also view the Hierarchy of your GLNs, Assigned Users from your company who have access to your GLNs, sharing settings for your GLNs, and the History of modifications to your GLNs by clicking the relevant options here.

 

  1. If you want to delete your GLN draft, you can click the red trash can icon in the upper right.

 

  1. If you are ready to publish your GLN, you can click the "Publish GLN" option.

 

 

 

NOTE: If you are editing your "Legal Entity" or top-level GLN and you receive/ship product from this location, you may want to add the "Fixed Physical Location" type.
